Our Mission

More excitement with tools

Since the establishment of Fujiya in 1923 by my grandfather, Saichiro Michimoto, we have cherished good traditions and our “Management Philosophy”.
The philosophy provides the basis for our commitment, goals, and the hearts and minds of our employees, and serves as a benchmark for all employees to move forward in the same direction.
The fulfillment of this management philosophy is the value of Fujiya’s existence in society and the cornerstone of our values.
We regard this philosophy as a promise from all of our employees to our customers, and we will strive to be a manufacturer that is needed by and contributes to our customers more than ever before,
We will strive to be a manufacturer that is needed by and contributes to our customers more than ever before.

Our Vision

Japanese tools to the world

The Japanese knife technology inherited from the Japanese sword has great potential.
Cutlery tools require the craftsmanship of bladesmithing, but they also need to be mass-produced because they are industrial products, not handicrafts. We will take advantage of the strength of our ability to mass-produce high-quality cutting tools in Japan and Vietnam, spread them around the world, and deliver products that satisfy customers around the world with their sharpness.

whole craftsman

We aim to become a comprehensive tool manufacturer by expanding our product lineup to meet customer needs, based on the technology and trusted brand that has been making pliers and nippers since our founding. We will leverage our brand power to create a variety of products and services that are not limited to work tools alone, but will make the entire construction industry more attractive and provide interest and admiration to young people.

federal management

We will diversify our business and create synergy effects through the group power of Renpo management.
We aim to draw out the initiative of our employees and develop human resources capable of participating in management.
In addition, the increase in the number of businesses will increase the number of positions and provide opportunities for growth for our employees.
We will grow by having many businesses.

Our Five Management Principles

quality first

During the postwar reconstruction period, when production could not keep up with the large volume of orders, the founder kept the following principles in mind
“To win the trust of the Fuji arrow mark, we must make good products even if they are few in number.
This is what the founder maintained.
The spirit of “quality first” was kept intact, and the company has been creating high value-added products that are demanded by today’s market by fusing the skills of masters with the latest technology.
We will enhance our brand value by creating high value-added products that are demanded in this era.

well-established venture

We believe that in order to preserve tradition, we must continue to change.
We will carry on the good aspects of tradition, but we will not rest on the laurels of the history of long-established companies.
We will continue to take advantage of the trust and credibility of long-established companies, but with the enthusiasm of a venture company.
We will continue to take on new challenges without fear of taking risks.

Aim high and
Acting backwards

The goal is not to make the goal an extension of the current situation, but to set a higher goal.
This is because we believe that we cannot achieve more than our goals.
Because we have high goals, we can work toward them.
And we think backwards instead of accumulative thinking.
First, we clearly state a high goal. From there, we work backward and think about the process and schedule.

carry through to the end

We believe that “management” is to clearly state goals, openly disclose information, define processes to realize them, and implement these processes throughout the organization.
If we move forward steadily, step by step, with conviction in everything, we will surely reach our goal.
The reason we cannot reach our dreams and goals is because we give up along the way.
We will never give up on what we have decided to accomplish until the very end.

Balancing Dreams and Management

We will realize the “dream” that each employee wants to realize and the “management” that will realize the growth and perpetuation of the company.
We will realize both “dreams” that each employee wants to realize and “management” that realizes the growth and perpetuation of the company. Employees are the growth engine of the company, and the company is the growth engine of its employees.
We will build a relationship in which both parties can mutually promote growth, and both employees and the company will strive to become a “vigorous company.

Our Brands

Since our founding in 1923, we have built over a century of history guided by our founder's spirit: “Never compromise on the quality of our pliers.” We combine the skilled craftsmanship of human hands with the rationality of optimizing processes suitable for automation. Driven by our responsibility to preserve Japan's traditional manufacturing heritage for future generations and share it with the world, we unite the power of tool manufacturing professionals. We develop tool brands that support craftsmen and transform the industry.
