A fusion of craftsmanship and innovation
created by 100 years of history.
Since its establishment in 1923, Fujiya has been delivering tools that are chosen by the manufacturing industry.
Our products are imbued with craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation and a spirit of innovation that anticipates the times.

While being mass-produced products

to product quality.
While mechanization is advancing, important operations such as assembly, hardening, blading, and polishing are performed by hand by craftsmen, one by one.
Fujiya has adopted a retirement system, rather than a mandatory retirement age, whereby skilled craftsmen train younger craftsmen to carry on their skills until they retire.
A product line that continues to emerge from customer requests.
By switching to small-lot production, while meeting a wide variety of customer needs, we have been able to improve productivity and reduce inventories.
By combining craftsmanship cultivated over many years with the latest technology,

DEVELOPMENT

We are close to the site and give shape to the voices of our customers.
We at Fujiya always develop our products by sincerely dealing with users and listening to their voices in the field. Utilizing the latest analytical equipment and agile development, we pursue functions such as durability, operability, and weight reduction.
We respond quickly to changing needs and create tools that are truly required in the field. We also pay close attention to design, delivering products that are both easy to use and a pleasure to own.
CRAFTMANSHIP

Edging” determines the sharpness of the blade.
Edging is one of the most important processes that determine the performance of pliers and nippers.
Using a special whetstone, the edge of the blade is carefully finished one by one while delicately adjusting the angle and shape of the blade.
This process is performed by skilled craftsmen just like sharpening a kitchen knife. It is a precise and meticulous process that can only be accomplished with a sense and technique backed by experience.
Accurately edged tools can cut with light force, greatly improving work efficiency in the field.
Fujiya’s quality, trusted by professionals, is supported by such craftsmanship and attention to detail.

To be truly reliable tools in the field
Fujiya’s tools are used by craftsmen who work daily in harsh environments.
How much force can be applied? How many times can they be cut without breaking?
Tools used in the field must have “reliable reliability” that cannot be seen from their appearance alone.
We don’t want to disappoint people who buy our products by saying, “It broke right away.
And we want them to feel safe using our products in any environment.
With this in mind, Fujiya conducts strict quality checks, including tens of thousands of continuous cutting tests and destructive tests to determine the limits of our products,

MANUFACTURING
Fundamentally innovate manufacturing.
Fujiya is actively involved in not only product development, but also in the reform of manufacturing itself. In order to automate the deburring process, which used to be done manually by craftsmen, we have developed our own deburring machine, and we are working hard to reproduce even the most detailed human movements.
We design all of these machines and program the control software in-house to achieve technological innovation in the field of manufacturing.
In addition, Fujiya has established a highly accurate and stable production system by fully automating the positioning and supply of parts for cutting machines, which are the standards for product processing.
Fujiya is utilizing the technology and onsite know-how acquired through these efforts to develop a factory automation business for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies suffering from labor shortages.
We improve productivity and reduce the burden on the shop floor by automating and reducing manpower in the machining process. We propose optimal automation solutions while staying close to our customers’ issues.
